CARL Heeley has officially been appointed as Worcester City manager.
The Lane legend, who played more than 500 times for the club, initially took over from Richard Dryden in a caretaker capacity.
He has now accepted the job on a permanent basis and will be in charge next season.
Chairman Anthony Hampson said: "Carl has proved that he is an effective communicator and a man who can inspire the best from his players and Worcester City are lucky to have such a resource to call on."
